I'm new to the ridgid forum so look past any ideas that have already been listed. This is my idea for the ultimate line of cordless tools and accessories.

1) Garden tools-trimmer, hedger, clipper, lawnmower, chain saw(any cordless)
2) A portable lithium ion rechargeable power supply to charge the cordless batteries like the vehicle jumper that have a/c outles. Maybe a 20 or 30(or even higher now that weight isn't much of a concern if replaced from lead-acid)amp hour battery that would be able to charge a full days supply of batteries.
3) More tools for the 24volt xli line. Impact driver, wrench, miter saw?

If ridgid is monitoring these posts, then with enough support from everyone they may find a market.

I want to see a small cordless miter saw. They could use a setup with 2 batteries to power it and go with either a big beefy 24 Volt motor (batteries in parallel) or a 48 Volt motor (batteries in series) to power it. On a bench top tool the weight of a second battery is not going to be an issue.

Black & Decker has made cordless hedge trimmers for some time, but they are kind of lacking in quality. A chain saw or weed trimmer takes lots of power. Maybe in a few years we will see them if they can make super power batteries that don't cost & weigh too much. There are cordless 1/2" square drive impact wrenches out, but as best as I know Ridgid has yet to come out with one.
