I just bought the ridgid narrow crown stapler and it came with a set of goggles that are way more comfortable than me previous pair. They fit well with my respirator. My question is can I get a few extry pairs anywhere? If anyone knows, let me know.

Look on them real carefully. There might be a brand and catalog number somewhere. Once that info is found somehow, then we can start looking for a place that sells them. I think it would be nice if Ridigd had a place on their main web site where you could direct order basic safety items, much like where you can buy some accessories for other items. Try to find out if there's a brand and any other info on them someplace. Good luck

If the glasses are shown in the parts breakdown at the back of your Owners Manual and assigned a part number you may be able to get them from M&D Mower (http://www.m-and-d.com/). Just type in the word RIDGID followed by the part number in the search box at their website.

If you have trouble finding them, you might look up Industrial Supplies, or Safety Equipment in your yellow pages. Then take your goggles along and I bet they can find some that you'll like. At one ACE hardware store back in the summer, I found some nice ones. I do hope you can find a brand name and some numbers on your's. There are many online dealers we can try.

I checked on the website provided by BadgerDave and found these two:

http://www.m-and-d.com/TTI-079001001088.html

http://www.m-and-d.com/TTI-079002001099.html

which I am betting is what you are looking for although there is no pic to be sure. I tried searching by the number on the arm of the glasses and that turned out to be the ANSI standard for the lenses. I thought I had seem them on the shelf at HD, but could be entirely wrong. I got the clear ones with my nailer kit I bought last year and also really like them. I just got the tinted/dark ones in the mail from Josh the other day so I am happy to have both now.

I have worn glasses for almost 30 years now and just got my first pair of contacts in Jan 2007. Although I am still getting used to them, I am also now needing to get used to putting on my safety glasses as I was always wearing them when working before!

Acording to the owners manual, WWs first link for the 1088 is the ones included with that stapler.
