I can't get the belt attachment off, I want to change to my spindles.
I've had this trouble before but used a shot of WD40 and I got it off.
WD dosn't seem to work this time.
How can I get it off, and prevent it from happpening agian?

Loosen the orange and brass fastener on top the sanding drum a little and then with your left hand, pull the belt attachment up a little and with the palm of your other hand, pop the top of the orange fastener... You might need to loosen the orange fastener a little more and repeat this step... It seems to get frozen on at times...

You could try a very small amount of either Nickel Anti-Sieze or White Lithium Grease. I don't think centrifugal force would cause a small amount to migrate out the end of the shaft and onto your work.

Thanks,

I'll try "pop the top of the orange fastner" if it happens again (never poped an orange top before).

I'll try that white Lithium grease. Hope the grease stops it from happening again.
