View Full Version : Jewelry Box picture

A few weeks ago I found a picture of a jewelry box someone had made from plans designed by someone else on the forum. I have looked for the picture and haven't been able to find it again. About all I remember is that there was an intergrated mirror in the box. The craftsmanship was wonderful and a true credit to the designer. I would like to try my hand at a jewelry box or spice box and since this one has been made by someone on the forum I hoped to be able to buy the plans and ask for assistance if I get stuck.

Does anyone know who the designer or craftsman was?

P.S. I am not absolutely positive it was on this forum but I am pretty sure it was.

I'm not sure if this will help much, but here is a good place to look for some ideas. Good luck finding it. This is where many members have posted about projects they have made and/or worked on.

Woussko and Bob D.,

I looked through all the pictures and it is not there. Maybe it was on another forum. The jewelry box had two doors that opened on the front and were attached to the sides (of course) that also opened. When the top was lifted a mirror was on the inside of the top. The middle of the box was a set of small drawers.

I will keep looking, maybe I can find it or something like it.

If so, that's a $5.95 plan from Amazon. Lots of other places carry the same plan, too.

VASandy, Unfortunately that is not the one I saw. I think I will make a spice box, the plans for which I have in a magazine. Thank you to everyone who helped with their suggestions.

In the General Woodworking forum I found an older thread project pics originated by lorax. On page 12 about midway thru there is a couple of photos of a jewelry box by NEWfGuy. Could this be the one?
