Ridgid Herc-U-Lift

I was wondering if anyone new if the Ridgid Herc-U-Lift would work with the Ridgid Thickness Planer?

I have to admit that I'm confused, but that's not unusual....;-D

Why would one want to raise a bench top planer the few inches that a Herculift would raise it?

And no it wouldn't work unless the planer was mounted on a 'box' with inside corners for the arms of the Herc-U-Lift to attach to.

Grizz44, the Ridgid Herc-U-Lift Plus WILL work on the Ridgid planer and I have one on mine.

Ken, The Ridgid planer comes with a stand that has the proper dimensions for the lift system.
I have one mounted on mine for the same reason there is one on my table saw. Mobility, not for height.

Whether or not you can find a Ridgid lift system at a reasonable price anymore is another question entirely.

Oops! My bad. I didn't realize the planer comes with a stand. Please excuse my ignorance, my wife does.... ;-D
