I do alot of boiler replacements and gas piping and tried a few other brands but nothing seems to work as well as Permatex but my helpers insist on tracking on every white carpet in the house.:eek: It is impossible to clean up.
The teflon paste is fine for most water applications but doesn't hold up well on steam piping. Occationally I use Expando for the biggy stuff over 2".
Just wondering what everyone else is using....
