Frost Free Outdoor Faucet Stripped

Hello,

I have a frost free faucet connect to the house that turns on easily enough, but cannot be turned off. It seems as though the threads are "stripped".

Are there internal mechanisms in these faucets that can be tightened, repaired etc?

Any help would be appreciated!
