Bosch T&G router bit

Why is it when i use my bsh. T&G the 1/4in MDF. is to thick , enough to split the grove . my mic tells me its 5/32 not 1/4 :confused: . (that's mean) anyway ill be making raised panel cab. next .

Usually MDF machines well although brutally dusty. Does your bit have shims that you can remove? what does your mic tell you about the spacing between the tongue cutters?
