just bumped into the lenox rep at the supply house today.

he gave me a couple of his new "diamond" reciprocating blades to try. the paperwork say's that they are 3x faster in cutting cast iron pipe and last 3 times longer.

unlike the carbide grit blades that suck:eek: these have diamond chips in them.

has anyone tried them out yet?

what did you think.

maybe i can pull the wool over mrs seat down, eyes when i tell here that there is diamonds in them:D

And then see if you can make a clean cut through a tomato afterward :)

I mentioned these a week or so ago on the thread "cast iron replacement". well worth the money. I don't cut cast very often so I don't own a snap cutter. The blades also work on tera cotta pipe. Not as well as a angle grinder but it works.
