I bought a used Ridgid 13" planer and just started using it. I'm getting some pretty bad snipe on the first board that I run through the planer at every height because the sure-lock is not holding the blade in place and the depth adjustment wheel moves about a quarter turn as soon as the blades engages the wood. Any ideas how to tighten the sure-lock so the blades won't move once the lock is engaged?
