Sofa Table w/Tile Mosaic Top

Just finished this project for a charity auction next week. My wife did the mosaic work. It really turned out nice - pictures don't do it justice. Now I'm not sure I can let it go...

That's beautiful!! Nice work. The proportions look very good. I like the end treatment very much. What kind of wood is it?

Great mosaic work. Where did the design come from?

It's a craftsman-style table. Usually calls for White Oak, but I used Red since I had a bunch left over from another project. We chose the dark stain to highlight the mosaic and to better match what most folks in SOCAL seem to have in their homes.

My wife saw a similar mosaic design someplace and decided to creat a similar pattern for the table top. She's an art teacher and can make stuff like that work...
