Brazing copper tube

I know its a better joint but what are advantages on a natural gas system lets say in comparison to soldered joints.
I think you guys in the states braze all domestic copper pipe natural gas supplies but I could be wrong.

as far as i know no copper for natural gas lines

A little OT but all the gas lines I have done are BI pipe welded joints.
