I am curious, What are most of you guys giving for warranty's. Warranty's on your typical plumbing repairs, Drains etc. Also on larger scale repairs re-pipes, mainline replacement etc.

1 year on all plumbing and septic work
1 year parts and labor on all plumbing, unless otherwise noted on the invoice. No warrenty on stoppages because people tend to abuse it, unless it happens in 24 hrs or less, (which I make sure it's not going to) Standard warranty on water heaters.

We have an incentive program that the tech (plumber and AC) that has the fewest callbacks in a month gets 200 cash bonus.

Not to steal or side track this thread, but I am curious about how you work this? Does the new owner call you or do they get with the contractor who built the place who then contacts you?

The first year is done through the General Contractor. I'll usually send the original installer to handle it but those guys are a little rough around the edges and I wouldn't want them in my new house. The second year customer calls us directly and I'll dispatch someone from the service department.
