View Full Version : mini impacts
I would to know if the 7.2-10.8 volt impacts would be worth the money ? Such as bosch impactor ($199).

I have the DeWalt 14.4 hex drive quick release chuck impact and love it! I actually don't use my regular drill much at all anymore. Since I had batteries, I got a new one bare off eBay for a hundred bucks. It works great on 4" screws and also will "tap tap" in 5/8" drawer guide screws. Pretty amazing

I have had the Bosh 10.8 volt Impactor for about two months now.
I do cabinet installation and general renovation work and it's great for that.
Not quite as powerful as the larger impacts, but considering the size and weight, it's can hold it's own. The holster that some of them come with is great. You can keep the tool on your hip all day and hardly know it's there. I would not recommend it for heavy driving, but for the type of work I do it's fantastic.
