positive experiance getting tools repaired....

As someone who is quickly expanding his supply of Ridgid power tools it is somewhat bothersome to see threads with constant complaints from guys who have horror stories about getting tools repaired under the Lifetime Service Agreement. I'm hoping there are many more who are having repairs done or batteries replaced in a reasonable amount of time.
If you have had a positive experiance please give us hope and post it here!

A little hope maybe. I walked into E & S Enterprises Tuesday in Fredricksburg, VA with two defective 18V batteries and left five minutes later with two free new batteries.

How did they handle the issue with the differing serial numbers on the new batteries and your continued warrantee? Did they transfer your warrantee to the new battery serial numbers?

All of my batteries have the same serial number. I wonder if all the like voltage batteries don't share the same serial number?
