Just for fun. Heres how it works. I will start it off with an item (usually a picture - clean none offensive) that I am challenging everyone to find. Whoever finds it first post the picture on this thread then make your own requests. I'll start it off easy...

Find me "Ernie’s Bee"
Bob D.
08-09-2007, 09:11 PM
OK, looks like this one might not be possible any more. There used to be a photos on the web of "Ernie's Bee". I spent an hour trying to locate one but they are gone it would seem. I won't reveal what it is in case someone does turn up a pic. There are only two of these 'Bees' in the world as far as I know. A couple of you should have a good idea as to what and where these are.
So here's a new quest; There were three 'tea burnings' during the Revolution here in the Colonies, find a photo of one of the other two not so popular monuments that mark the sites, i.e., NOT the Boston site.
Update: 8/8/07 -
Here's a photo of the monument in Greenwich, NJ
http://ojhammell.com/Tea_Burners_photo_1sm.png
I also found one of the Bees. It's not Ernie's Bee which stood in front at one of the gates leading into NAS Lakehurst, but it's very similar.

I'm gonna suggest that people actually know or verify (by searching it out for themselves) that what they are asking others to find can be found on the 'net. I've started doing this and I have a couple already researched so when I answer someone else's post it does not take me long to respond with the answer and my new request.

The first photo looks very similar to a 64/65 era Olds F-85, I had a 64 for a couple years. I also had a 66 Old 98 LS with the trunk-mounted reverb unit on the AM radio. The LS was built on the same frame as the Caddy and had tons of leg room in the rear seat (right OSC?) That was a party car for sure. Motor was a 400HP 455 cid w/4bbl carb and you needed it too, those beasts tipped the scales at over 5500 Lbs and about 23 feet long I'll bet. Had to burn premium leaded fuel only. My 98 LS was the baby blue color with black and blue interior but looked identical to the gold 67 shown on the owners manual above.

yes bob but mine had the 420 hp 400 ft lbs 425 cu in super rocket motor backed behind a th400 trans with 3.73 open rear and when you hit the gas that thing would just flat move, bob did yours have that mirror on the back of the front seat for the women to do there make up while you listen to the wonder bar am radio??
oh that 425cu in motor was only made for 2 years 66-67 then out law by the govrment becuse it had"racing"12.5:1 pistons in it, atleast that is what some old timers told me, i have never been able to verfi any of that

Yeah OSC, mine had the fold down mirror in the back of the seat. That car had the coldest AC I can remember, used to get frost on the metal vent ports on the dash. You are right on the motor displacement, it was 425 not 455. That thing would move with the big motor in it but it was like getting an aircraft carrier moving at flank speed, it don't stop on a dime !!
