Had a Ryobi TP which was known to seize blade screws during use then the
screws would strip out and had to be drilled out to change the blades.

I put some grease on mine out of the box to help prevent that.

Have seen similar complaints on this forum. Is it common for the TP1300
blade screws to be too tight from the factory and then get tighter over time and have to be drilled out to change the blades??

Wonder if the DW735 has the same problem...

Makes me appreciate my way older craftsman TP that had gibs holding the blades so the screws wouldn't do that.

Thanks.

I read about that one time. When I first got my TP1300 I took the screws out and put a little anti sieze on them. Each time I change or reverse the blades I wipe them off and reapply antisieze. Never had a problem in almost 7 years now.

Been in a few HDs in the last two weeks and haven't seen much in the way of TPs. Mostly the DeWalt on display only and not the Ridgid.

Good to know, I'll check the screws on mine this weekend. Thanks.
