When will the new compact 18vLi-Ion batteries be available to buy with out buying a whole new drill.
I boutht the new drill about a month ago and since the batteries were stolen off a job.
I can find every other Ridgid battery but this one. I would rather not have to buy a new drill.

check e-bay. There are a number of them listed.
[maybe your stolen ones?]

Check ebay since no one even knows when the 24v batteries will be out and those have been around for a long time now. Basically don't expect them any time soon.

by the way, what is the weight of the 18 battery and its amp/hour rating?
Does this battery work on the original chargers 9.6-18v? or does it require the new 24v charger?
I saw some on E-bay at around $45.00

Don't remember the weight but another thread said 2.9ah and they don't work on the old charger. You need the charger they come with. Don't know if they work on the 24v charger.
