i know some of you have one or more of these cutters . i have a one its a MCC and i cant fined new cutters .does any one know where i can get some

I have same one bought at Graingers I think. Try there. I love that tool.

Ridgid should make a allthread rod cutter for their Propress:cool:

If Grainer doesn't have what you need you might call the factory and ask if they know where you can buy them in your area or maybe a national supplier.

rems makes a 3/8'' and 1/2'' cutter that fits the propress.

the only issue i see is now you have a 3-4 hundred dollar cutter that is attached to a $2,500 tool. before you know it, it's missing or dropped:eek:

i still like the mcc tool by itself.

i did contact them and they gave me a distributor that i would need an account at .

one of my supply houses stock the cutters. i run into the rep every year at the trade show.

have you tried to reverse the cutters from inside edge to outside edge:confused:

yep i did a 1/2 a year ago . i cut a lot of rod and lone the tool
i found a place that has them for $60 and just want to make sure that price is good . it will still be worth it for me to get them when I'm on a lift 45 ft in the air to cut the rod
