Can you buy extra patteries?
I can buy 12, 14.4, and 18V but cannot find spare 24V batteries anywhere...
Does RIDGID even sell them separately?

the only way to get extra 24 volt batteries is from the combo kit, the starter kit(1 battery and a charger for $199, ridiculous) or I have heard some people on this forum say they got a battery from a RIDGID rep.

If your local HD's happen to have them available there's the starter kit with a charger and 2 batteries I think for 199. The only real way to buy individual batteries is ebay.

You might as well buy the kit, a rep told me they will cost about $125- $150 each. So the tool/charger is free. I got one free from a rep, and they were packaged individually, just not yet for sale. Tools are free, you pay for the batteries.

I noticed the HD's around me now have the 24v starter kits (1 battery & charger) marked down to $150 from $200. That's still too much. I'll wait till X-Mas time and see what good deals come out.

The 24v single pack battery I have is a R85008.
