Being in L.A., I know Rick has done oodles. That being said, I don't think he is suppose to mention some of them. . .so watch what you post Ricky!
I think Mark has done quite a few as well.
When I worked at my cousin's pharmacy I delivered drugs, um prescriptions, to alot of them!
BTW, I use to LOVE the Berestein bears!

Im sure he has done alot in that area.... Stan and Jan Berenstain, as soon as i walked into their house, she asked if i had any kids, and they personally signed acouple books and special limited addition prints to their names. Real nice people, their house is awesome..their basement full of Berenstain Bears stuff, you name it, it was there

I once heard Tom Hanks stopped to get gas in our town, but being a small town in Minnesota, that could have just been a rumor. :D:D:D:D:D

I spent a lot of years doing large celeberty homes. From there we ended up also doing their stuntmen, agents, attorneys, accountants and so on. It's almost funny how some of them will compete against each other to see who is going to do the most outrageous stuff to their house. We once did a 2-bedroom 12-bath house which included a 1,600 sq ft master bathroom. The same master bedroom also had a 200 sq ft master bathroom but the big one must have been for parties.

Working on a celebrity house right now.She is in the limelight. No I don't think it is good to name her on the internet.
Job walks are every thursday. So everybody brings an extra clean shirt, maybe they think their going to be in the movies someday:D
she has a five person entourage.#5 guy used to carry a pillow for her to sit on.Now he has to carry a bar stool bcause the property is so spread out.
Amazing how fame can change a persons look on things.
Different on camera than in real life.Very few people would put up with the shenanigans if she had not fame.

I've worked in a number of celebrity's houses. I'm not looking to list them out however. No one with a super fabulous lifestyle or anything. A collection of retired celebs and authors and such. MA isn't the hot spot for people looking for attention.
A recent amusing one was my father was working at Bill Rodgers' house. He noticed some photographs of runners and such around the house so decided to spark up a conversation. He asked how often he ran and such. He got answers like 5 miles everyday ect. Then he asked if he ever ran in the Boston marathon. Bill Rodgers response was a humble 'yes' then added he did win it 4 times. At that point it finally clicked who exactly he was. My father felt kinda stupid for that blunder.

today i was at a condo project and the celeberity owner was just moving in. the problem was one of the sofa beds would not get past a hallway and into a second bedroom. when i saw the contractor in the alley with the couch all wrapped up and ropes tied around it.
the problem i saw was a 300# couch around a single block on the 4th floor of the building and scaffolding. knowing that there were only 3 men and a 40' lift with it, i knew they were in trouble.
after they attempted to tie the rope off to the bumper and almost pull down the pulley/ block. i offered them my help and my block and tackle.
funny part is i have plenty of electric winches at my shop to choose from(ask robert) and they needed it done now. so my block and tackle created a 9 to 1 advantage. they still used the original pulley for a safety line. the 40' lift would have required close to 300' of line and i only had 75' on that tackle. so the pulling was done on the top floor of the scaffolding, not from the ground.
the vacation home belongs to someone everyone knows;) but i won't tell who they are:D and neither will joey:rolleyes:
here are some photos of the near disaster:eek:

Rick, please tell me you are NOT the schmuck on the roof. Even if you are, it's ok to go ahead and lie to me and tell me it's not;)
This was an accident waiting to happen:eek:
Is that scaffolding crumbling from the weight or is there a ladder on the top of it?

joey, no need to lie:D
as you see from the photo, i was the photographer;) so it could have only been done with a timer and i'm not fast enough to climb 40' before the timer goes off:rolleyes:
the funny part was the contractor that was hired to do the job, cut out the window, only figured on 1 hour for the job.
he would still be scratching his head if i wasn't there with my stuff.;)
by the way, he's the schmuck on top of the scaffolding and also the one who did the pulling. i was below on the safety line and camera man:rolleyes:
rick.
i didn't go to the hospital today because of this:eek: it was pink eye:D just like you said;)

Zeljka, Even though people are celebrities they still like to keep some morsels of privacy. They hire service people that are not going to steal from them and sell the stuff on the internet. Most celebrities do not want their name and how they are living posted anywhere. I think all of those people that have worked for celebrities will agree on that.
If you and Rob don't care. . .it is easy enough. . .just don't open the thread and be bothered with it.
You are making a much bigger deal out of this than anyone intended.
Relax;)

Not as exciting as you want, but. . . .a really good friend of ours' father-in-law wrote or produced (I forget which one) the Rifleman (an old western TV show).
He has a couple of the rifles used from the show hanging over his fireplace. He is an amazing 97 year old man.
It's hot, go ahead and turn on the a/c. . .I won't tell your hubby:D

Anyone ever do any celebrities houses???
I have done John LeClair (Former Montreal Canadian, Philadelphia Flyer, Pittsburgh Penguin), Terrell Owens house ( In NJ when he was an Eagle), The authors of the Berenstain Bears, some minor league baseball players. The house they filmed The 6th Sense (Center City Phila), the building they filmed Trading Places (Union League building center city Phila) and me and my partner did a bar while they were filming an interview with the Rolling Stones for 60 Mins, and the house of the person who started the TV show Trading Spaces (Conshohoken)
I unstopped the sewer drain of the guy who OWNS the show "CHEATERS" which is filmed here in Dallas. He has cameras every dam where in his house. Some 'professional burgular' actually broke in his house last summer and stole alot of equipment. he has a millon dollar home here in Dallas in an area called "Highland Park"...stays down the street from Dallas cowboy owner Jimmy Johnson.I actually now Hydrojets his sewerdrain every three months and i do there Studio building(he told me to call him when i purchased my jetter for the contract)...real nice guy though.

I've worked for news anchors and city councilmen and women, no celebs though.
I'm pretty sure I'd turn it down if given the opportunity though; wouldn't like the situation, especially if something went wrong.
People are people, we all put our clothes on the same exact way. They actually get pissed at you when you talk to them like they aren't important, or known. I did this to Jimmy Buffett when I was a bouncer years ago at Riverbend Music Center. I just don't care.
A guest was viewing this thread, caught my eye. Ain't nobody important in my area; nothing famous about Cincinnati besides jerry springer.
