Well Happy Birthday!! You are actually the designer of MY favorite tool!!!
I met Rick on a job once and he was using the 1210 oilless threader. I of course wanted to play with this cool looking thing. While Rick finished I asked for a piece of scrap 9" long piece of 1" green pipe to thread myself. Rick said did a good job and go ahead and thread the other end.
Rick through the piece in his truck and said great what am I gonna do with this oddball piece of threaded pipe? Believe it or not, one week later Rick needed a piece of threaded pipe the exact size that I had made!
He used it and said it was perfect!
So a very HAPPY BIRTHDAY to the guy involved in making my favorite toy. And of all the toys Rick has, this is saying alot;)

BTW, the only thing that would make it better would be if you could increase the delivery speed of the coolant as it sits idle for an extended period of time.

Wow, Joey! Thanks! That makes me all squishey inside! :D (I was actually wondering about "your favorite toy, for a second there... :embarassed: )There were several other people involved in the machines I did, as well. They just don't participate here.
Yep, 54 today. I brought five dozen doughnuts in this morning (on th escoot, no less) and they were all but *gone* by 8:30. So know that your RIDGID engineering team is well fed today!

Thanks everyone!

Thanks! But I didn't work on that one. That and the 1224 were released just before I moved from tubing tools/drain cleaners to threading equipment.

Nah, we bring doughnuts for the whole department on our birthday. The up side, is that we get to eat doughnuts on about 50 other people's birthdays throughout the year! :)
