Router Table Extension

Has anyone built they're own router table extension? And if so what procedure did you take?

Welcome to the forum Lamont. This question has come up many times here. If you use the Search feature found up near the top right center of the page, you'll find tons of input on this subject.

Click on the search button and type in router table extension and click on the Go button.

I have recently finished a combination outfeed table and router table and fence following a lot of the ideas on this forum. You could also google tablesaw router extension for more ideas.

My standalone table does have flip-up extension wings for routing long pieces but honestly, I rarely ever use them, but I don't do a lot of moulding or anything of that sort.
