I've read about the incra and kreg offerings but find myself with an opportunity to own a delta 36-946 miter gauge for a very good price......anyone have any experience with this one? http://www.toolbarn.com/product/delta/36-946/

It's almost identical to the Osborne EB-3, which I have and like very much.
If you're getting it for less than $109, I'd say go for it. Otherwise, consider buying the EB-3 which is currently $109. ;-)

I looked at both the Incra and Kreg gauges and found in both gauges that I could deflect the fence with moderate pressure applied about 6 to 8 inches from the bar. Not so with the Osborne. It is, as they advertise, rock solid.
I am very pleased with the EB-3. Around $110.00 or so.
Steve.

Thanks for the replies, I went for the delta as it was less than a 100.00 all in. Gotta love ebay. Can't wait to ditch the stock ridgid gauge.
