I was told by Ridgid Customer Service that the AC9950 Herc-U-Lift Plus is not qualified for the LLSA. The 9950 is made by Ridgid... only TTI manufactured tools are covered by the LLSA (with registration). The LLSA is actually provided by TTI and are using the Ridgid name under license.

I have a Herc-U-Lift that I bought five or six years ago. It has been collecting dust in the box since then. I have no idea about model numbers. Anyone want it for $25.00 you can have it. I am not going to apply any energy aside from blowing the dust off the box, meaning if you want it, come get it in Albany, N.Y. If you are passing through Albany, toward a vacation destination, I am less than five minutes from I-90.

Lori,
I've got one here in Southern MD, I think I paid $50 for it, but haven't had a need for it. It is NOT a plus version, (that one I'm keepin'), so it'll only work for a table saw. I have no idea what the shipping cost would be because it mighty heavy. PM me a contact and we can discuss.

I have 2 of these available (AC9950, HercULift Plus, so it works with more than just the table saw).
$60.00 each + shipping (PM for shipping estimate if you want one)

Well, I set this up last night under my TP1300 planer stand. While I will miss the low-level storage a little bit, I absolutely love being able to wheel it around in my tight workshop, rotate it on its own axis, and have the whole mechanism inside the legs (sometimes I have to wheel it through a door). I'm planning to put two layers of plywood under the planer to raise the tables above the height of my tablesaw top..
I bought another Herc-U-Lift after-market and can't wait to setup my bandsaw with it next week. While it currently is on a mobile base, and in the garage, it is a LOT more stable when resting on its own legs, than the support structure of the mobile base.
I cannot understand why Ridgid discontinued the universal Herc-u-Lift...
This is one of the greatest stationary tool accessories ever.
If I could find 'em and afford 'em, I'd put one under my non-Ridgid machines as well! (though, that would take away a lot of storage space...)
Hrrm... selling these two other mobile bases will pay for one Herc-U-lift.. hrrm...

Hi Finer9998,
I have two Craftsman saws (one table, one RAS) that are in need of ac9950s. These are the plus models, correct? If so -- and if my research is correct -- they should work swimmingly with both saws and I'd like to take them off your hands...
Thanks in advance!

I'm still looking for an ac9950 for my BS1400, too - but I have had no luck so far. (Temporary solution at end)
I had picked up an adjustable mobile base from Rockler (http://www.rockler.com/product.cfm?page=11450&filter=mobile%20base - $59.99). It went together easily and fit the saw's base very nicely. However although it is rated for a 500 pound load, the lift leavers are plastic, and one of them simply snapped off about the 3rd or 4th time I used it - not recommended. (They have a more expensive one at $99, but (a) they don't show its load rating on-line, and (b) I can't tell from the pictures whether the lift arms are metal or plastic on that model.)
Anyway I thought I had found an as9950 this evening, but when the person offering it for sale called, it turned out to the the 'saw table only' herculift and was not what I'm looking for.
I have a too-small shop area so mobility is a necessity - and we're having work done on the HVAC system on Monday and I have to move the TS and the BS out of the room for a few days. So as a temporary stopgap (I'm going to keep looking for a herculift) I went by HD tonight looking for casters to build my own mobile base.
There I found some 3" (3.5"?) casters with locking mechanism with threaded rods, marked "Fits Ridgid table saws" - they were a little under $8 each, so though I'd try them on the bandsaw. I swapped them with the leveling feet and leveled the saw. They seem to be sturdy enough, although they do raise the saw more than I like.
With the wheels properly positioned and locked, the saw feels about as solidly supported as with the original feet, so for about $33 I got a reusable set of sturdy, lockable wheels that will hold me until either I can get an ac9950 or I build my own. (I tried going by Woodcraft, to get the lifters shown by Kirsch in his post on http://www.ridgidforum.com/forum/showthread.php?t=25200&highlight=mobile+base, but my local store is out of them and I have to be able to move the saw tomorrow.)

what is an ac5001?
Its the RIDGID Band Saw Rip Fence. ranchome, there really are much better BS fences to be had than this one. Kreg makes an excellent one as do quite a few others.

Thanks, Dave, I mixed up my part #'s. I actually meant the AC9950 plus Herc-u-lift. Had bandsaw fence on my mind.
