Hello,

i have submersible pump in my basement

Sumbersible pump is working, it pumps out the sump but it does not stop working after doing so.

hence air starts going in and i hear bubble sound.

right now i have to unplug the pump.

i looked for a float valve, thinking it might have got stuck

but i realized this one has got a diaphram switch, which works on pressure sensor and does not get stuck.

please let me know, what should i do to resolve my problem.

thanks,
avani

Hello, it is called a diaphragm switch and it needs to be replaced, once that is done, the pump will turn off and on properly without unplugging it.
