1/2 and 3/4 00-R die interchange

I could not find a local set of ½” NPSM #37960 die inserts for my 00-R hand rachet threader so I thought what the heck I’ll try a set of 3/4” NPSM #37965 inserts.


Both threads are 14tpi-rh

They worked fine! Now I wonder why Ridgid didn’t design the ½ and ¾ heads to accept the same insert and reduce inventory?

Then you wouldn't have to own two sets.

Why are there 10 hot dogs and 8 buns to a package.
