Certification Help

I recently moved from an employer that does not allow his workers to get certified to one 1,400 miles away who does :D. My old employer is a jerk and doesn't want people to get certs and start their own businesses. (Kinda funny how a jerk employer loses employees.) Anyway, I am wanting to find out where to go to get my Apprentice card and furthermore what the Kansas requirements for a Journeyman cert are. I know most areas are 8,000 hours of experience incl. a few hours of classes too. I have tried to get a hold of the KPHCC for some answers but they never respond. Where should I go? I want a breakdown of everything to find out where I stand thus far.

I`m sure you`ll be seeing me around town as I also do sewers in the Hesston area.

BTW... all you have to do is show that you have experience in the field and you have a Apprentice card and you can take your Journeyman test. I`m a 20 some year Apprentice because I`m lazy....lol.. I could take the test for a master but then I would be legal to do plumbing and wouldn't have to hide from the inspector all the time but that would take all the fun out of it...rotflmao

you have to get it from your city office if you work for a master plumber.
