Hey everyone, I hope everyone had a good Thanksgiving, and a relaxed one at that. I haven't been on in awhile due to work and a side job. I'm glad to be back.
It's been a huge responsibility and learning experience running my own truck lately. I guess I've done well cause they've upgraded me from an older small dodge van to this:
http://img510.imageshack.us/img510/7848/pb230008eeg9.jpg
It's a 2004 Freight Liner 3500 Dually. I've riden in several different Sprinters before, and by far the Dually handles the best.
You can't really tell too much from this picture, but I try and keep it really shined up.
I recently just got this too: :D

:D Just thought I'd shared this with everyone.
Have a good one.

Aaron,
Good job I am glad to see you stuck with it. You will never regret making the effort of going back for it. Now go out there and become the plumber we all know you can be.
Mark
Congratz Aaron! I'm proud of you. Looks like you are really heading in the right direction. Looks like you took good advice and applied it well.

Thanks everyone.
Plumberscrack,
I know it's a real nice truck. Soon as I finish cleaning/stocking the inside of the truck I'll take some pictures of that too.
I'm not sure if he does or doesn't. I use my own vehicles/parts/tools to complete the jobs. They are not his customers, so I'm not stealing any work. They are all people who I have worked for to gain their business.

Congratulations on the diploma and working on your own with a new van. Working by yourself is a huge responsibility not to be taken lightly. Your boss must trust you and your work.
I have always thought the Sprinter was the perfect plumbers van. Let us know what you like and dislike.
I have always been impressed with your willingness to learn and posting pics of your work for critique.

Who can turn the world on with her smile?
Who can take a nothing day, and suddenly make it all seem worthwhile?
Well it's you girl, and you should know it
With each glance and every little movement you show it
Love is all around, no need to waste it
You can have a town, why don't you take it
You're gonna make it after all
You're gonna make it after all
How will you make it on your own?
This world is awfully big, girl this time you're all alone
But it's time you started living
It's time you let someone else do some giving
Love is all around, no need to waste it
You can have a town, why don't you take it
You're gonna make it after all
You're gonna make it after all
You are scaring me..............:speechless:
Do ya have the "Laverne & Shirley" lyrics on hand also?

We're gonna do it!
Give us any chance, we'll take it.
Give us any rule, we'll break it.
We're gonna make our dreams come true.
Doin' it our way.
Nothin's gonna turn us back now,
Straight ahead and on the track now.
We're gonna make our dreams come true,
Doin' it our way.
There is nothing we won't try,
Never heard the word impossible.
This time there's no stopping us.
We're gonna do it.
On your mark, get set, and go now,
Got a dream and we just know now,
We're gonna make our dream come true.
And we'll do it our way, yes our way.
Make all our dreams come true,
And do it our way, yes our way,
Make all our dreams come true
For me and you.

Aaron, outstanding and standing out!
If you passed the diploma it tells me something.
We had a thread months ago where I'd asserted you might be afraid of learning/school work.
Maybe not after all.
You passed a test that I assume has algebra, geometry and other topics as a prerequisite to pass, which says the contrary.
You remind me of me at your age, I made a few mistakes then that I wish I could go back and undo.
Thats where the line is drawn, you picked a direction, unlike me at your age.
You're commitment to the trade is sealed, you're here to stay.
If there's anything I can do to help, simply ask.

Thanks everyone for the kind words.
Tracy- I go to www.imageshack.com. I then go to upload and if I want to show detail(like in these pictures) I choose the 1024x768 17" Monitor Option.
I then use the bottom link, the direct link option, copy it, and then come back to the Ridgid forum and click the picture of the mountain, back space the http stuff, and paste the link from image shack.
I hope this helps ya out, if not, just send me a pm.
Tyman- I don't really like Sprinters that much to be honest with you. As I stated before, the Dually Sprinter handles much better then the standard 4 wheeled truck. The whole rear of the truck has custom made shelves and cabinet's which are nice. I'll try and post picture's soon as I clean that all up as well.
But I don't like that the truck has no power what so ever. You might as well just forget about pulling anything with this truck. Even a air compressor and U cart of concrete are pushing it in my opinion. Too weak/cheaply built of a truck if you ask me.
Duck- Thanks your words mean alot to me.
Dirty- Go ahead. I try and spread the word of what hard work and determination will get you to other teenagers, but it goes in one ear and out the other. It feels good being a positive impact on society.

Congrats on the HS diploma. I started in plumbing right out of school as well, had some "issues" with burning weeds for pleasure. 2276
That was before the career move as plumbing is a thinking game from the go.
It feels good to have feathers in your cap at a early age; one less hurdle to cross when you get older.
There are a few things I wish I would of gotten sooner but that's water under the bridge now. That's the first dually I've seen in that bodystyle.
I bet you can hang curves twice the speed now....nevermind the stuff flying off the shelves...:D
