Thanks for the reminder that Hanukkah starts today. Us here at The Woussko Hut do Christmas, but we have many good friends and neighbors that are Jewish. This is a very special time for them. One of my neighbors got into a little problem last night and today. He didn't get the lights all put up on this bushes. They really do have Hanukkah bushes all decorated up nice in my area.

just for the record...
thank you for the Chanukah wishes....
BUT..please note Chanukah is not a "holy Holiday" as the Christmas Holiday is.
Sadly, Madison Ave. has taken even the most innocent of celebrations and have blown them out of proportion!
Very simply speaking:
Christmas celebrates the birth of Christ etc. etc.
Chanukah celebrates the Jews winning a battle and that a small container of oil deemed to burn one day lasted eight days as the "priests made more" You want a Jewish "holy day"? We can then discuss Passover or new years or the day of atonement!
How do I know this?
My Dad was an Orthodox Rabbi, that's how!!!!!
What really burns me up [pun intended] the damn Chanukah candles are now made in china!!!! Is there no end to this?
