I walked into Ferguson this morning and on the counter is the new Ridgid 330-E Pressing tool.

Why is it $200 dollars more than the now discontinued 320-E?

No one told me there was a new model coming out especially this close to Christmas.

Good thing I still have time to edit my list to Santa

Nothing on the Ridgid site about it

The RP330B is the new RIDGID 4" battery press tool. It uses a Lithium-ion battery that boasts twice the number of crimps-per-charge than the previous technology (as tested on 2" copper fittings). It has a 270-degree rotating head, soft rubber overmold, and a flat-top allowing better access. Two great features include an increased number of crimps before requiring service (32,000 vs. 22,000 on the 320E tool). Additionally, no calibration crimps are required. The RP330B is fully compatible with all RIDGID Standard-series jaw sets (as well as the rings that Plumber Rick mentioned below!).
