Just thought I would remind you how dangerous this stuff can be. I used it many times with no problems what so ever, Wednesday was different.

Long story short, I barely made it out of the customers house vomiting uncontrollably as I stumbled out of the house. How long did it take to get this sort of reaction you ask, about 20 seconds, that's it. Called my boss (speed dial) when I was out and could not remember where I was at. Then I called the shop and asked where a laundry mat was. I was not thinking right.

I turned out ok in the end and only missed one day of work. The customer was not home at the time, but had I not got out of the house and passed out I am sure I would have died.

Never again will I underestimate chemicals.

Why were you in the house? Did someone try to clear a line with the acid?

I was in a bathroom with no vent fan or window and etching a stone shower pan to be epoxyed.
