I thought maybe you coould help with this. I have a "rumage sale special" 12 inch sears bandsaw the owners manual is dated 1977, its worked ok till now i've had it 2 years, the blade came off today and when i tried to replace it, I found the tire was off the wheel i put it back on and retracked the blade by hand seemed ok when i hit the power the tire came right out fromunder the blade after several tries and adjustments it still does the same thing each time ( i'm talking about the top wheel not the bottom one )
