Can anyone comment on the 18 v hammer drill and reciprocating saw running on the x2 NiCad (2.5 Ah) battery? Is it reliable? How is the performance of the tool/battery?
Any comments/experience will be much appreciated.

Have both, work good, no problems, they are heavy and well built, the batteries work as they should, easy to attach and remove, quick charging with 30 minute charger. The reciprocating saw has a tool-less blade attachment (nice), and a variable speed trigger thats nice and smooth, also has an ajustable foot. The 1/2" hammer-drill\drill\driver has a 2 speed gear box, variable trigger, 24 position clutch, hammer - drill \ driver selection, also has lots of torque, battery usage is higher then the compact drill, but not too bad, and when the Lithium-ion batteries come out they will fit these tools, which will give you increased run time between charges.
