The rubber is wider than the aluminum wheel by roughly 1/16th. If I tuck it in it forms a bump in the middle. Also the tire is thicker than the lip of the wheel so that bump becomes quite large. I need to trim the width and true the tire.

I'm new to this forum, but to answer your question. If you have an owner's manual look up the rubber wheel part number and order a new one. If you try trimming there is no guarranty the wheel will remain perfectly round and (if I understand correctly) you risk breaking the saw blade.
