Canadian Prices VS US Prices

I'm looking at buying the DP1550. here in Canada it's $399 in the US (15 minutes away from me). it's $299. what gives? the Canadian dollar is worth pretty much the same as the US and prices still haven't changed. I've logged a complaint with Home Depot in this matter.. although nothing will probably come out of it.

I don't know the reason, but is it true that the 3650 TS is regularly $799 in Canada? ...it's $550 in the US.
