discontinued/clearanced tools

has anyone noticed a correlation between a tool appearing in Ridgid's Revision Archive and its being clearanced at HD? several drill and combo kits are in the archive and are now being clearanced. Several miter saws are also in the revision archive. does that mean that they will soon be showing up as clearance items at HD?

I didnt know about the Revision Archive but yes, newer models of the tools do come out from time to time. Once a certain SKU is replaced the remaining items on that SKU are usually put on clearance. Some people see the yellow tag and jump for the item right away and others wait it out. The prices drop after awhile as long as there is still product in the store
