I am in the process of buying my first thickness planer. I have read good reviews on the Rigid and the Makita. Since I will be running a medium level production shop, I am looking for consistency in accuracy and durability over time. Another concern is noise rating. The Makita has a 83db rating. What is the noise level of the rigid. Thanks in advance for your time. P.S. Also if I choose the Rigid, how would I also receive the $50 discount the other guy got?
