i havnt been able to find if propress is approved for soft copper tubing. does anyone know?

yes it is, up to 1.25'' soft copper;)

Rick, do you know where I can find literature on this. Looked on the Viega web site and found nothing. All of the local suppliers say it cannot be used on soft copper.

call your local viega rep and have him give you a complete binder for the system. i have one and it shows all the code approvals and installation standards.

i know for a fact that it's approved for up to 1.25'' soft.

You are faster than I am Rick, I just found it...and I started looking a few mins ago. I think that is the same instruction sheet that is included in all bags of fittings.

The sooner they approve it the better. Lots of guys want to use it for more than repairs down here.
