Would like to know your experience with the 18 v hammer dril (with the 2.5 AH battery). Is this combo adequate for drilling in concrete? I am planning to use it to build a sub-floor in a basement and I need to screw down the subfloor. I also need to put in some screws in the concrete wall too. Will this drill serve my purpose or am I better off to get a hammer drill run on AC? I was told that under heavy use, the battery, even though it is rated at 2.5 AH, will run out really fast. Is that true?
Any comments will be much appreciated. Thank you very much in advance.

I have set many, many Red Heads in concrete with that exact setup. Set it to hammer drill and it drills down nicely. No complaints at all.

Battery operated tools are great, but you will always be better off using a corded tool if you have power close by.
