newbe bandsaw operator

bought 14in Ridgid band sas bs14002. had it about 1 year. have not used a
whole lot yet. can't seem to keep the tire on upper wheel on. have tried adjusting the tracking knob. but as soon as it gets up to speed it either flips the tire off or throws it into the wheel housing. please offer suggestions.

One solution would be to replace the stock tires with some after market urethane tires such as these, Woodcraft 144969 (http://woodcraft.com/family.aspx?familyid=4896).
