Moving HVAC System in Basement

Hi,
We are planning to finish our basement and the way builder has placed the HVAC and water system it is very old (right under the stairs but sticks out too much on the hall way. I was wondering whether it is possible to move the HVAC system to a corner? We live in Northern Virginia.

anything can be done all it takes is time and mula. factor the age oof your equipment into the whole deal to see if it should all be yanked out before moving it. you need a good hvac guy to come in to size the trunk lines to make sure you dont choke off the flow when you move the system
