I saw this in one of my recent mags and it stated that it was a good buy (no review though). I was wondering if anyone has or is using it on their TS3650?

It is out of stock in my area and online...must be selling well?
Thanks

Well I have to admit that I've never actually seen one but from first glance I don't like the way it locks the angle in. It appears that you just tighten that little handle to lock in the angle once you have dialed it in. It would seem to me that as you tighten the handle it would have a tendency to move the base piece and change the angle setting ever so slightly. Again, I'm making this assumption from looking at a picture and not from actually using one.

That would be a problem if it did that. However, one could always return the item to Sears if that was a problem. The closest thing I could find was this product for $360.00

From what I am told it has the same "brain".
They mention it here, but no review...

I finally found one in Boise, ID where my brother-in-law lives. He picked it up and it is in the mail. I will report on the item when it gets here if anyone is interested. BTW the store had one left in stock after he got mine.

I just got one. (Sears in Waycross, GA) But it has a high-pitched squeal coming from the electronics so I will need to exchange it soon. Other than that It seems well built and very intuitive. I will update everyone when I get my new saw assembled.
