Hey Plumber Rick, I went to buy a Ridgid K-60 today and was told that is was not going to be available until April 1 and even then it might still be 3 to 4 weeks after that before Ridgid gets them out. You should look in to getting some sort of commission for the way you sell their product!

I know what you mean Ben.Every time I go there it's a crap shoot.I try to be patient with what coorperate has done to the branches. But man,come-on.One of the managers is has so much empty shelf space we almost got him talked into keeping a small part in the back stocked with our necessities

Expect Ferguson's to close in the next 10 years...
or possibly shut down their locations. There's a turnabout with industry being so rough in areas that they possibly can't be making money at this point.
The only one in kentucky in my area sees at the most, 15-20 plumbing trucks a day and it's always the same; I'm the only one in there, 3 guys playing on the computer waiting for something to do, the shelves are near empty or largely diminished to minimum stock.
And the stuff you need? Out of stock. "Sorry, we got some coming in next week"
Come back 3 weeks later and it's still empty.
I agree... Shanes a great guy (know him personally) and they swing some pretty good deals there.

The K 60 I just bought was from Ferguson, ordered one day and received the next. They quoted me the best price, Although I do agree it seems as though they never have anything when you need it.

I attended a Ridgid demo yesterday up here on the hill. I recommended the See Snake to the local water district. Knowing they were coming up here to demo the see snake, I asked if they would also bring up a K-60 so I could see it. They told me they didn't have one to demo for me but Peter Klugman was there to answer all my questions.....While we were talking about it GUESS who's name came up????????????????? The Other Rick

Two things:
One: Rick is the main reason that I bought my K-60. He has posted so many good things about it, that I felt I had to get one. So far, I have been nothing but happy with it.
Two: I think Fergusons can be a real pain in the *** to deal with, but today I needed to get leak detection equipment. It would take a month to get from my local guy, so I called Fergusons, and they said we have them in stock, come and get it. So they really helped me out today. Although, they are way high in price on most items. You really have to watch what you buy from them.
