I use mine for scrowling. :D Some people use them for scroll sawing, which involves a saw which uses a very tiny blade moving in a very fast up and down motion. With a scroll saw you are able to make very intricate and delicate cuts. Some people do nothing but scroll sawing for a hobby. Look through a few magazines or go to your local Barnes & Noble or Borders and browse through their woodworking books.
