Type of preferred strapping?

What do you like for supporting vertical pipe; u-channel, split rings?

For any thing larger than 1-1/4" I like using unistrut and strut clamps, seems to hold the pipe much more securely. For smaller pipes split rings work fine.

Swivel loop hangers up to 4" Clevis after that.Unistrut and clamps when tracking three or more lines and sway bracing.The split rings dont have enough adjustability when hanging out of drop in or preset anchors in concrete lid.

On walls J-hangers for waste until I get too close to overhead obstruction.Unistrut all others.

"CUSH"clamp on all unistruted copper when they pay or spec for it.Penny pinchers get felt and standard clamp.
