I have a utility room with a floor drain that I would like to add a utility sink in. Currently the humidifier and water softener each have a 1/2" drain pipe run just under the floor surface that all empty into the drain.
Is it possible to add something like a utility sink that would empty into that floor drain or would I need to add a riser/vent/etc.. as well?
