Ts2410

I thinking of the ts2410 as a dado saw and maybe some light ripping. Will this saw handle that? Is it a 5/8 arbor? Can i make a shop built stand/ cabinet for it and not use the stand?Any problems with the saw? thanks

Yes the 2410 can handle cutting dados and light ripping. The arbor is 5/8" and there's no reason why you couldn't discard the stock stand and build a cabinet for it.

I actually compared the 2400 and the 2410, set up side by side. The only difference I could see is in the stand. While the 2410 stand may be easier to use the 2400 stand is heavier and more stable than the newer 2410 stand. If you will be moving it a lot go with the 2410 otherwise I would try to find a 2400.
