Hi all. I have a lot of build up on the cutter head/blades/infeed table from cutting clear pine. Is this common even if the wood is supposed to be 6-7% humidity? what is the best way to clean this and do I have to remove the blades?

Thanks for the help.

I just finished building a router table for my new Triton router. I will give you guys/girls some feedback once I run some serious stuff throught it. So far this Beauty and Beast is far more than just a great router....

Pine will give you build up that needs to be addressed with a little maintenance. Check your manual to see what they say to clean your infeed and outfeed rollers. Rollers very in composition so some clean with minerial spirits some with lacquer thinner. Using the wrong thing could harm the roller. Blades can be cleaned with mineral spirits or pitch and tar remover. Careful of the fingers they are sharp.
