speakers podium

Gentlepersons: I've been looking for plans for a speakers podium. Haven't had much luck. Have looked in mags and around some web sites. I'm not looking to build an elaborate stand, it's for my son-in-law who's a teacher and he dosen't like to teach from a desk. Any directions towards a web site, book or mag would be greatly appreciated. Again, trying to keep it simple. ;)

Grappler, I don't have the plans, but you might check out these sights. The second site has complete plans and looks a little simpler to build. Go under furniture on the second site and look for "Craftsman lectern plans". I believe it was the 6th plan down.

Thanks for the input on the lectern plans. Some other interesting projects and plans at that site.
